"Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of Total SA, says demand will peak at some point in the 2040s, which is why the French energy giant he runs has been investing in solar power. Ben van Beurden, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell Plc, has said the zenith could arrive a lot sooner, in the next 15 years or so, if electric cars became really popular. “The energy transition is unstoppable,” Van Beurden told the St. Petersburg forum in early June. “In the most aggressive scenario, you can see oil already peaking in late 2020s or early 2030s.” In the time scale of the oil industry, where multibillion-dollar projects often take a decade or longer to come to fruition, that’s as close as it gets to saying “the day after tomorrow.”

Custa-me a crer que os estados permitam esta desligação da rede, quando ela começar a ser massiva:

Gostava de saber

Era tão interessante saber os valores monetários por detrás destes fluxos. A que preço a energia é colocada na rede, qual a percentagem desse preço paga pelos contribuintes em subsídios vários e, depois, a que preço a energia está a ser vendida aos operadores de bolsa de energia.

Talvez Jacinto Nunes percebesse a incongruência em protestar contra o aumento do preço da energia ao consumidor final quando se elogia a política de renováveis.

Se as pessoas percebessem as enormidades (não são ilegalidades) que se escondem por detrás de coisas como esta "Energia está mais barata na bolsa ibérica mas isso não se sente no bolso do cliente" revoltavam-se.

Por um lado o decréscimo do consumo de combustível nos EUA, na Business Week "Not Guzzling Quite So Much Gas":

"But in 2007 there was a slight decline in the number of vehicles on the roads. And this year, traffic is down 7.5% through March".

Por outro lado a explosão de consumo na China "China is experiencing an acute power shortage with a nationwide electricity shortfall at 70 gigawatts, the equivalent of almost Britain’s entire generating capacity."

Coisas que a minha mente não consegue encaixar

Estava uma garrafa de Coca-Cola light sobre a mesa, olhei para o rótulo com olhos de ver.

Reparei na tira vermelha com letras brancas "MENOS DE 1 CALORIA*"...



Viram o que eu vi? Não houve nada que vos tenha despertado os sentidos?


A mim aquele " * " fez-me cá uma comichão.



Fui à procura da legenda do asterisco e encontro isto:

"SEM AÇÚCAR"

"MENOS DE 1 Caloria*"

* Por 100 ml (Cal = kcal)

Aquele último parágrafo não regula bem!!! Cal = kcal, onde????

Qualquer livro de física dirá que 1 kcal = 1000 cal. Será truque de advogado argumentar que Cal (maiúscula) = 1000 cal (minúscula)?

Depois na tabela da informação nutricional repõe-se a minha lógica, por 100 ml, o valor energético é de 0,2 kcal.

Ou seja, por 100 ml temos 200 cal, e não menos de 1 cal, como afirma o rótulo.

Onde é que o meu raciocínio está a falhar? Será que estou a ver bem?
