Instilar um sentido de urgência!

Passei esta semana a tentar convencer um conjunto de jovens, que um dia estarão inseridos em organizações, a não pactuarem com a pacatez habitual do nosso país.

Espero que um dia possam injectar nas organizações onde estejam o 'zest', a sensação e o sentido de urgência para fazer a diferença, para mudar, para transformar...

... e que não sejam contaminados pelo nosso ritmo habitual.

"Speed is an asset. Not only because working fast means that one is ready sooner, but also because speed has an intrinsic value in the problem-solving process. Speed imposes discipline, it forces one to choose the really relevant analyses. Without a deadline there is no momentum. You can carry out a comparative cost analysis in three days, if you keep your options open and are endowed with a good feel for real relationships. But you can just as easily take a week to do it and we would not seek to contradict anyone who claims that a month is needed. But anyone who really wants to do a good job – and after all, who doesn’t want to do a good job – will take a year. Without a deadline three days become a week, or a month, or a year."
