Mão amiga fez-me chegar esta peça:

"Climeworks' Direct Air Capture (DAC) plant in Iceland captures so little CO2 from the atmosphere it doesn't even cover its own emissions.
This represents a complete failure. The technology is tasked with reducing atmospheric CO2, and instead it is increasing it.
Climeworks DAC began operations in Iceland in 2021. The large machines are claimed to be able to capture 4,000 tons of CO2 each year. This goal has never been achieved. Since commencing capture operations, they have captured no more than 1,000 tonnes in a single year.
Yet Climeworks' own emissions amounted to 1,700 tons of CO2 in 2023."
