Depois de ler o artigo do jornal...

... questionem-se. Qual o racional para sustentar que uma retoma está para breve?

Na linha do que temos aqui escrito nos últimos meses e na linha do que o José Silva escreve no Norteamos, encontrei este artigo num jornal australiano "End of the age of plentiful debt" onde o autor aponta a via espartana; onde o autor refere que o capitalismo é um sistema baseado no capital, não na dívida; onde o autor refere o absurdo que é esperar que a causa da doença que nos trouxe até aqui seja vista como o remédio que nos há-de levar às pastagens verdejantes da retoma; onde o autor refere a engenharia das desvalorizações da moeda, ... acho que o autor consegue referir muitas das driving forces que criaram o cenário actual.

Pensem por um momento que o homem tem razão, que o colapso na procura se vai manter por longos anos. O que é que a sua empresa está a fazer para se adaptar a esse novo cenário?

The present debate misses the point that it may not be feasible to reach again the growth levels in the global economy of the past 20 or so years. Recent global prosperity was founded on a series of elegant Ponzi schemes.

A minha resposta à pergunta inicial é, só se a China ocupar o lugar dos Estados Unidos como o grande consumidor mundial.
