Para reflexão

Um empresário de calçado de empresa cliente mandou-me este artigo "What does it cost to make a running shoe?  solereview  May 22, 2016  Guides" de onde retirei estas imagens:

E recordo:
"we’re all laptop corporations if we want to be ... Everything a company can do, a person can do now too. Having a large corporate infrastructure is no longer an advantage"
"If you make, you retail (big and small)"
Em Mongo: If you make, you must retail!!!

E chamo a atenção para o modelo Zara onde os descontos são muito mais baixos.

Em Mongo: é fundamental a proximidade entre concepção/produção e consumo para conseguir a rapidez que reduz a necessidade de descontos:
"By relocating most production for North America and Europe to Southeast Asia and putting retailers on 150-day order windows, the shoe industry has created a marvel of low cost at the factory gate in combination with an extraordinary array of styles (about half of which only endure for one three-month selling season).
...
As a result, the shoe industry fails to get one customer in five the product he or she actually wants, while it remainders 40% of total production (pink Wonder Wing, for example) through secondary channels at much lower revenues.”"
BTW, ontem comprei uma peça por 29.99€. O preço inicial na etiqueta era de ... 79.99€.
