Slide:ology

Aqueles que precisam de fazer apresentações, que usam o Powerpoint com regularidade, que realizam acções de formação, apresentam relatórios, fazem comunicações em conferências e seminários, além do livro de Garr Reynolds "Presentation Zen", têm agora também o livro de Nancy Duarte "Slide:ology".

Um verdadeiro 'must'!!!

Relativamente à ornamentação dos slides com gráficos e dos dashboards de ontem, Nancy Duarte escreve:

"Audiences that are analytical, scientific, or engineer-minded tend to look at data with a skeptical eye - it's what they're trained to do, after all. ... avoid decorating your data; ornamentation can detract from credibility."

"Save de decorations for the holidays. A common theme throughout this book has been the idea of simplicity, so it should come as no surprise that simplicity is important when displaying data for projection. In fact, simplicity is more important when displaying data, since the data itself can often confuse the viewer. It's equally critical to keep your data slides free of unnecessasry clutter."
