Um arrepio

Devo ser muito beato...

Li "DowDuPont: the chemicals between us" e arrepiei-me...
.
Um exemplo perfeito do modelo de maximizar o retorno do accionista como o objectivo, em vez da consequência:

Há anos que o crescimento e o retorno para os accionistas tem sido conseguido através de aquisições, eficiência e cost-cutting. Agora chega-se ao extremo de preparar as empresas para através de uma fusão serem depois partidas para darem mais retorno para os accionistas.

E criação de valor para os clientes?
.
OK, estas actividades são legais e longe de mim querer proibi-las. IMHO são mais um sintoma da incapacidade, ou da dificuldade das empresas grandes, dos Golias, lidarem com as exigências de Mongo.

Desde que haja liberdade económica, desde que as rendas não sejam impostas por monopólios formais e legais, tudo bem, no fim ganhará quem melhor servir os clientes num mundo em mudança.
