"Bolivia - For the first time in 20 years voters will head to the polls tomorrow unsure about the likely winner. The ruling socialist party, in power since 2003, is in as much turmoil as the economy. The Movement for Socialism has been unable to present a viable candidate to be president and no dominant party has emerged. The country has depleted its international reserves and inflation is at 15.5 per cent."
"An economic crisis, with fuel shortages and inflation likely to hit 30% this year,"
