Curiosidade do dia

Esta semana de manhã na rádio Observador durante o programa "E o Vencedor é..." alguns dos comentadores fizeram-me sorrir ao duvidarem de que sejam cometidos abusos.

Por exemplo, com ética protestante:

"The civil service is losing more than four million working days a year to staff sickness and absence rates have risen by at least 10 per cent in some departments. Latest figures suggest Whitehall is on track to report its highest staff sickness level yet, surpassing a peak of 8.3 days a year lost per employee in 2023.

...

Figures published by the Office for National Statistics this summer showed that, on average, public sector sickness rates were almost 50 per cent higher than those in the private sector."
